Property Tax Records

The property tax record of a property consists of Block, Lot, Qualifier, Property Address, Property Class (Zoning), Land description (lot size), Building Description (Type of Construction, Stories, Number of Units, Type of Parking if any, etc), Calculated Acreage, Assessment of the Land and Assessment of the Improved (building), Total Assessment (Land + Improved), Estimated Taxes, Tax Year, Property Owner and Owner Address.

Total Assessed Value (Land + Improved) is multiplied by the municipal tax rate to arrive at yearly property taxes. Below is a table listing the 2007 tax rates for municipalities in Hudson County.
